Material Handler:
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Report to: Senior Logistics Manager
Employment Type: Contract
Hourly Rate: $25/hr to $30/hr
Position Summary
Responsible for coordinating domestic and international shipments, processing orders, preparing shipping
documentation, monitoring deliveries, and ensuring compliance with company shipping procedures.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate parcel and freight shipments using carriers and freight forwarders.
• Create shipping labels, bills of lading, commercial invoices, and export documentation.
• Review backlog and prioritize orders based on customer requirements and ship dates.
• Process order fulfillment transactions in ERP systems such as NetSuite.
• Coordinate carrier pickups.
• Investigate and resolve shipping exceptions, delays, and delivery issues.
• Support dangerous goods and international shipments in compliance with applicable regulations.
• Maintain shipping records and provide tracking information to internal stakeholders.
• Follow company SOPs, safety requirements, and quality standards.
Qualifications & Skills
• Experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of FedEx, UPS, DHL, LTL, and freight forwarding processes.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
