Job Description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Master Data Administration
- Create, update, and maintain Supply Chain master data in ERP and related systems, including materials, BOMs, recipes, routings, production versions, planning parameters, and warehouse master data.
- Ensure all master data requests are processed accurately and within agreed service levels.
- Verify data completeness, accuracy, and required approvals prior to system maintenance.
- Maintain complete documentation and records of master data changes for audit and compliance purposes.
- Support new product introductions (NPI), product changes, packaging changes, and business projects through timely and accurate master data setup.
Data Quality & Governance Compliance
- Develop, implement, and maintain master data governance standards, procedures, approval workflows, and supporting documentation.
- Create and maintain master data guidelines, SOPs, work instructions, and reference materials to ensure consistent data management practices.
- Perform routine data validation, reconciliation, and quality reviews to maintain high levels of data accuracy and integrity.
- Investigate and coordinate resolution of master data issues with relevant stakeholders.
- Support periodic audits, data cleansing activities, and corrective actions to address data discrepancies.
- Monitor and report data quality, governance compliance, and related KPIs, and recommend improvement opportunities.
Business & Operational Support
- Serve as a key contact for master data requests, enquiries, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including Factory Supply Chain, Commercial, Regional Supply Chain, and Regional/Global Master Data teams to gather requirements, validate information, and ensure timely and accurate master data maintenance.
- Actively participate in cross-functional meetings related to NPI, product changes, operational readiness, master data governance, and business projects to ensure timely and accurate master data execution.
- Ensure master data readiness before operational milestones, product launches, and production execution.
- Support resolution of operational issues arising from master data inaccuracies or gaps.
- Attend required training, system updates, and knowledge-sharing sessions to maintain functional and system expertise.
- Provide backup support for selected production planning and inventory management activities
Continuous Improvement & Digitalization·
- Support master data improvement initiatives, system enhancements, ERP upgrades, testing activities, data migration, and digital transformation projects.·
- Identify recurring data issues and recommend opportunities to improve data quality, process efficiency, and user experience.·
- Support the implementation of process improvements, governance controls, and automation opportunities to improve data quality and operational efficiency.·
- Support user training and knowledge sharing on master data processes and tools as required.
Safety, Quality and Food Safety
- Comply with all Safety, Quality, and Food Safety standards and procedures.
- Ensure master data supports traceability, compliance, and operational readiness.
- Identify and escalate risks related to safety, quality, or regulatory requirements.
- Participate in site initiatives to support overall factory performance.
CONTEXT AND SCOPE
This position reports to the Factory Supply Chain Manager and works closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant master data management across business processes.
Key stakeholders include:
- Factory Supply Chain teams (Planning, Logistics, Customer Service, and Warehouse)
- New Product Introduction (NPI), Product Change, and Commercial stakeholders
- APAC Regional Supply Chain teams
- Regional and Global Master Data Management teams
- System FE Network and Digital/IT support teams
- Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality & Food Safety teams
- External and internal project teams supporting business transformation initiatives
The role supports master data governance, operational readiness, product lifecycle management, and digital transformation initiatives through effective stakeholder collaboration and data integrity management.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS / QUALITIFACATIONS
1. Education & Professional Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Good command of English, both written and verbal.
2. Knowledge / Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in Master Data Management, ERP operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Planning, Procurement, Logistics, or related functions.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain processes.
- Experience with Power BI, Power Query, or other digital tools is a plus.
