Job Description:

The Mars Transfer Pricing Transformation Manager is responsible for leading transfer pricing requirements, operating model design, process transformation, and SAP S/4HANA solution deployment activities within a global ERP transformation program. The role serves as the primary Tax SME for transfer pricing policies, intercompany transactions, profit allocation methodologies, legal entity reporting requirements, and operational transfer pricing processes. The individual partners with Tax, Finance, Controllership, Supply Chain, Business Units, Shared Services, and IT teams to ensure transfer pricing requirements are embedded within SAP S/4HANA design, supporting compliance, operational efficiency, financial transparency, and audit readiness.

What are we Looking For?

• 5-8+ years of transfer pricing, tax transformation, or international tax experience.
• Experience working in multinational organizations, consulting firms, or Big Four environments.
• Strong understanding of OECD transfer pricing principles and operational transfer pricing processes.
• Experience with intercompany transactions including product flows, services, royalties, and cost allocations.
• Experience supporting ERP transformations, preferably SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA programs.
• Knowledge of Intercompany, Record-to-Report (R2R), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Supply Chain processes.
• Experience translating tax policies into process and system requirements.
• Experience supporting business process design workshops, testing, and deployment activities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across Tax, Finance, Operations, and IT organizations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Tax, or related field.
• Preferred SAP S/4HANA Transformation Experience:
  • Supported transfer pricing workstreams during SAP S/4HANA implementations.
  • Experience with intercompany process design and Advanced Intercompany functionality.
  • Familiarity with Universal Journal, Group Reporting, and management reporting structures.
  • Experience supporting transfer pricing true-up and profitability reporting processes.
  • Led or coordinated UAT, cutover, deployment readiness, and hypercare activities.
  • Worked closely with Global Tax, Finance GPOs, Controllership, Supply Chain, and System Integrator teams.

What are the Key Responsibilities?

• Support the Global Transfer Pricing Transformation Lead in executing the transfer pricing workstream strategy and roadmap.
• Coordinate transfer pricing requirements gathering across regions, business units, and functional teams.
• Analyze transfer pricing policies and document SAP S/4HANA business and process requirements.
• Support design reviews for intercompany sales, services, royalties, cost allocations, and management fee processes.
• Partner with Finance, Intercompany, Supply Chain, and IT teams to ensure transfer pricing requirements are incorporated into the solution design.
• Assist in defining requirements for transfer pricing calculations, allocations, markups, and true-up processes.
• Review impacts of legal entity structures, plants abroad, principal models, and supply chain operating models on SAP design.
• Support development and execution of transfer pricing testing strategies, test scripts, and defect management processes.
• Track risks, issues, decisions, and action items related to transfer pricing deployment activities.
• Facilitate alignment between global template standards and local business requirements.
• Support change management, training, and deployment readiness activities.
• Assist with audit readiness and documentation supporting transfer pricing compliance objectives.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between the below range, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, if eligible, including variable pay & general allowances (depending on the position and employee’s work schedule).  Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable policies and plans then in effect, and depending on the position offered and the employee’s work schedule (i.e., part-time schedule), eligible employees are automatically enrolled in a 401(k) plan, are eligible to participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents and may be eligible to take up to 18 weeks of paid parental leave. Employees will also receive the following paid-time off (which may be prorated based on start date and the employee’s work schedule): 120 hours of vacation per year, paid sick time for eligible Associates of 100% pay continuation for a maximum of 40 hours per calendar year, and 12 paid holidays (equal to 96 paid holiday hours) throughout the calendar year that include both fixed and flexible holidays.  

Base Salary Pay Range: $108,160 -  $146,000

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
