About the job 

You strengthen marketing strategy and decision‑making through data, insight, and analysis, ensuring that long- and short-term marketing investments are evidence‑based, prioritized, and tied to business impact. Providing analytical input to global brand and marketing strategy is part of your job, as is applying marketing science, such as brand growth, mental availability, buyer behavior, pricing power, and effectiveness theory, in an industrial B2B context. You report to the Head of Brand & Marketing Strategy. 

Job responsibilities 

• Support customer research and brand health measurement frameworks to assess brand strength over time 

• Design and evolve frameworks for measuring marketing effectiveness across brand and demand activities 

• Own the design and interpretation of marketing KPIs linked to business outcomes 

• Lead analysis of campaign performance, media effectiveness, and long‑term versus short‑term impact 

• Support segmentation, targeting, and buyer journey understanding in complex, multi‑stakeholder buying environments 

• Act as a strategic thought partner to Brand, Demand, Content, and Sales teams 

• Enable better decision‑making by clarifying trade‑offs, scenarios, and expected outcomes 

• Support business and finance stakeholders by translating marketing performance and effectiveness into clear commercial implications and investment recommendations. 

Location and flexibility 

This position offers a flexible location and can be based near any of our Sandvik Coromant sites. 

Your profile 

You combine analytical depth with a strategic perspective and enjoy working where insight meets decision‑making. You have experience in measurement and evidence‑based marketing principles, such as brand growth, mental availability, and effectiveness theory, and the confidence to apply them in an industrial B2B context.  

You also bring: 

• A track record of working in matrix organizations with cross‑functional stakeholders 

• Experience translating insights into strategic direction and actionable frameworks 

• Background in driving or contributing to structured marketing measurement cycles 

• Demonstrated ability to influence and align teams through clarity and structure 

• Education in a relevant field 

Success in this role comes from curiosity, structured thinking, and the confidence to challenge assumptions. You’re collaborative by nature, clear in your communication, and pragmatic in how you balance long‑term brand building with short‑term performance.
