Job Title: Market Activation Specialist – Digital & Social
Location: France (remote)
Contract: Full Time
Job Summary:
Centric Software, a fast-growing, innovation-driven enterprise software company, is looking for a Market Activation Specialist to build the digital presence and brand awareness of one of Centric's solutions — and to make it impossible to scroll past.
Your playground is the feed. You'll turn product and customer proof into content people stop for, share and talk about, and you'll make sure the right audiences at brands and retailers see Centric showing up, consistently and credibly, where they spend their time online.
This is a newly created Market Activation role, fully dedicated to digital brand awareness for the solution, with a focus on key markets in Europe and the US. You will work closely with Product Marketing, Corporate Communications and Regional Marketing, with real autonomy to experiment, test and activate where and how Centric should show up.
This role is ideal for someone 1–2 years out of business school who is digital-native and always on social — someone who spots a trend before it peaks and already thinks in hooks, formats and engagement. We'll teach you the product and the industry; we need you to bring the instinct for how attention works online.
What You'll Do:
1. Social-First Activation
- Own digital activation for the solution — content, social and thought leadership across LinkedIn and other relevant channels.
- Build and run an always-on content engine: short formats, video, visuals, carousels, employee and customer voices, built for the platform and not simply repurposed for it.
2. Audience Building
- Grow reach and community among the people who decide: design and product, merchandising, e-commerce and content, and digital leaders at brands and retailers.
- Engage with creators, experts and industry voices to extend Centric's reach beyond our own channels.
3. Listening & Real-Time Reaction
- Monitor conversations, trends and competitor activity in our space, and react quickly with relevant, on-brand content.
- Test, measure and iterate: double down on what resonates and drop what doesn't.
4. Cross-Functional Orchestration
- Partner with Product Marketing to turn messaging and proof points into content people want to engage with.
- Coordinate with Corporate Communications on PR and brand moments, and hand attention over to Regional and Digital Marketing to convert into demand.
What You Bring:
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree from a business school, marketing program or equivalent.
- Experience: Around 2 years of experience in digital marketing, social media, content or communications (internships count); B2B, SaaS or tech exposure is a plus but not required.
- Social native: Always on socials, with a natural feel for what works on LinkedIn and beyond. You understand the culture, codes and formats of each platform, and can show us accounts or content you've built or grown.
- Tech-savvy: Quick to pick up new tools and platforms, and comfortable with social analytics, scheduling and content creation tools, including video and visual editing.
- Languages: Fluent in English and French; German is a plus.
- Soft Skills: High energy, curiosity and a bias for action. Comfortable creating things from scratch with limited playbook.
Key Performance Metrics:
- Brand awareness and share of voice for the solution in target markets.
- Engagement rate and audience growth across activated channels.
- Reach and engagement within target buyer roles at target brands and retailers.
- Quality and timeliness of market and competitive insight shared with Product Marketing.
Additional Details:
- Remote-first role based in France, with access to coworking spaces where available.
- Occasional travel for industry events.
- A newly created role — shaping the function as it's built.
