- Serve as the business owner for assigned Sales platforms and represent Sales needs related to enhancements, priorities, and issue resolution.
- Maintain system priorities and backlogs based on business value, user needs, and operational risk.
- Evaluate workflows, data, integrations, reporting dependencies, access, and user experience to identify improvement opportunities.
- Own and maintain general data infrastructure supporting Sales — data models, integrations, and pipelines feeding CRM and analytics tools.
Request Intake & Triage
- Design and own an intake process for Sales requests directed to the Analytics team, ensuring requests are properly scoped, prioritized, and routed.
- Interface with Engineering to manage the flow of Sales requests — clarifying requirements, tracking status, and ensuring timely delivery.
- In partnership with the Manager, Analytics & Reporting - serve as the single point of accountability for Sales-originated requests, moving through Analytics and Engineering, reducing duplication and competing asks.
- Build lightweight documentation, templates, and criteria so Sales stakeholders submit requests with the context technical teams need to act quickly.
Requirements and Delivery
- Partner with Sales stakeholders to understand workflows, pain points, and business needs.
- Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and success measures that engineering teams can act on.
- Act as liaison between GTM, Product, and Engineering — facilitating communication, managing expectations, and ensuring alignment on priorities, scope, and timelines.
- Partner with technical teams to evaluate solutions, manage dependencies, and resolve issues.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing, release validation, and post-launch verification.
- Lead cross-functional projects from discovery through delivery, managing scope, risk, and stakeholder communication across technical and non-technical teams.
Adoption and Performance
- Measure adoption, utilization, data quality, user experience, productivity, and business outcomes.
- Use feedback and performance insights to recommend system and process improvements.
Business Partnership & Sales Engineering Support
- Partner with Sales, Sales Enablement, Analytics, Product, and Engineering teams to support system needs and business priorities.
- Bring a consultative mindset to stakeholder engagements — diagnosing root problems rather than just fulfilling requests, and guiding teams toward scalable solutions.
- Track and communicate key requests, risks, dependencies, decisions, and delivery status.
- Translate technical considerations and tradeoffs into clear business recommendations, and vice versa.
- Provide technical/sales engineering support as needed — helping Sales understand and articulate product and tooling capabilities internally and to customers.
Requirements
- 10+ years of project management experience, ideally spanning technical and Sales/GTM environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Strong working knowledge of general data infrastructure — databases, data pipelines, integrations, and how data flows between CRM, data warehouse, and analytics/reporting tools.
- Significant experience supporting Sales systems, business technology platforms, Sales Operations, or related systems work.
- Demonstrated experience translating business needs into technical requirements and partnering with engineering teams through testing, release, and adoption.
- Experience designing or managing intake/triage processes for cross-functional requests (e.g., analytics, engineering, or IT request queues).
- Experience with CRM, workflow, or comparable enterprise platforms.
- A consultative mindset and approach — able to build trust with stakeholders, ask the right questions, and guide decisions rather than simply execute requests.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, prioritization, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to act as a conduit between technical and business teams, flexing between engineering depth and executive-level business framing.
- Ability to travel up to 25% based on business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a product owner, platform owner, business systems analyst, Sales Operations systems partner, or sales engineer.
- Experience with intake/ticketing tools (Jira, ServiceNow, or similar) to manage request pipelines.
- Experience with Power Platform, APIs, workflow automation, or modern cloud-based data environments.
- Experience supporting distributed or field-based Sales organizations.
- Experience in automotive finance, consumer lending, financial services, or another regulated industry.
