As the Manager, International Sales Development, you’ll lead a group of Sales Professionals who stand as the front line of our well-established Sales Organization. The LDR and BDR teams are directly responsible for a very large piece of Five9’s revenue — we’re looking for someone who can dive headfirst into this incredible role, lead our International Sales Development team, and help us continue our growth across international markets.

What You’ll Do:

• Recruit, hire, train and manage a world-class team of Inbound Lead Development Representatives and Outbound Business Development Representatives across Five9’s International Sales Organization
• Manage day-to-day operations, including teaching, coaching, removing bottlenecks, and ensuring the team is positioned to consistently achieve its goals
• Own and maintain the team quota, with a focus on driving continued growth in meetings, opportunities, pipeline generation, and overall team performance
• Create new trainings to teach our team new skills that will help them succeed in this role and throughout their entire career
• Be very comfortable using data to support decisions and initiatives
• Monitor and analyze inbound and outbound processes, metrics, and tools to maximize success across the LDR/BDR teams — challenge the status quo, we can always improve!
• Inspire and motivate the team to create an environment of openness, creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Work cross-functionally with Sales Management, Sales Operations, Demand Generation, and Marketing to support Five9’s international growth

You Might Be A Fit If:

• 4+ years of experience exceeding goals in a quota-carrying prospecting and closing Sales role
• 1+ year(s) of experience directly managing is encouraged (SaaS is preferred)
• You have proven experience — and passion for — coaching, motivating, and growing the ability of those around you
• You have experience leading a team toward quota and can demonstrate consistent growth and improvement in team performance
• You are a self-starter with the ability to quickly identify problems and come up with solutions
• You take ownership — comfortable with defining goals, success factors, key metrics for programs, and delivering against them
• Strong experience running experiments (A/B testing methodology) in order to continuously improve our processes
• Strong knowledge of SFDC — reporting, SFDC workflow management, etc.
• You have experience selling a technical product or possess the aptitude to quickly learn this
• You are comfortable leading and collaborating with a distributed International Sales Development team across multiple markets and time zones
• This role may be remote; however, candidates should be located within reasonable proximity to Five9’s London office to support in-person collaboration with the team and broader organization as needed.
