OVERVIEW

The Manager, Install Quality is responsible for driving installation quality, consistency, and continuous improvement across Sunrun’s installation organization. This role leads the Central Install Quality Review team, serves as a key escalation point for field leadership, and partners cross-functionally to identify and eliminate recurring quality issues.

The Manager owns the relationship between License Holders and the Install Quality team while leading process improvements, FIC app and AI enhancements, Channel Partner construction reviews, and quality-focused training initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Team Leadership: Direct the Central Install Quality Review team, fostering a culture of high performance through proactive coaching, talent development, and rigorous quality standards.
• Issue Resolution & Escalations: Act as the trusted authority for Senior Leadership on critical field quality challenges and systemic operational failures.
• Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement: Drive the evolution of the installation quality review framework; conduct root-cause analyses to systematically decrease error rates across the field.
• Tech Innovation & AI: Modernize the Field Installation Review (FIC) app by driving integration of AI and automated technologies to maximize review speed, accuracy, and actionable feedback.
• Cross-Functional Training Strategy: Co-develop targeted training programs alongside the Installation Training team, establishing specialized FIC review tracks for new Foremen and onboarding crews.
• Partner & Licensee Oversight: Hold Channel Partners and License Holders accountable to quality standards through structured audits, direct relationship management, and data-driven reporting to executive leadership.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or a related field preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in sales operations, sales support, or customer support environments.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & TRAVEL 

• Physical Demands: Standard office environment requiring extended computer work and active participation in virtual and in-person meetings.
• Travel Requirements: Ability to travel to corporate offices 3–5 times per year
