Job Description
OVERVIEW:

YOUR ROLE AS A MANAGER, PROCUREMENT
This role is responsible for executing the sourcing strategy, managing end-to-end procurement processes, and leading a team of buyers or category specialists. This role focuses on optimizing category spend, mitigating supply chain risks, negotiating high-value contracts, driving cost-efficiency, and improving operational efficiency & streamline processes while ensuring strict compliance with corporate policy and governance.
WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION:
- Ensure timely, accurate and complete reporting on Category Spend, Strategic plans, Project status and performance against established KPIs
- Partner with key stakeholders in the senior management capacity to articulate Procurement agenda and strategies, influence them to support the goals and enabling necessary resources to deliver the objectives
- Plan, develop, execute strategic sourcing projects to deliver targeted savings and other KPIs, including cash flow improvement, risk management and compliance
- Collaborate with key stakeholders from other functions to lead ideation of Productivity and Innovation projects; kick-off, maintain progress, ensure timely achievement of the objectives and sharing periodic reports on the status
- Ensure development of reliable supply base for all Categories needs, supplier evaluations and manage supply risks and business continuity
- Ensure visibility and transparency of the Procurement spend, provide thought leadership by continuously analyzing the data and providing strategic perspective on identified key drivers that impact the business
- Interface with users to understand needs and deliver continuous value across the supply chain
- Own contract negotiations, management process and ensure compliance with legal requirements and Company’s policies and be able to supervise the team on the contract.
- Develop strategic partnerships with Suppliers to drive innovation, including employment of digital systems and technologies that will transform the management of the all categories
- Responsible for executing the Sourcing strategy, Managing end-to-end procurement processes, Supplier Evaluation and Established and Deliver the Procurement Department KPIs
- Leading a team of buyers or category specialists and able to guide the team
- Ensure Transparency, Good communication and promote good Compliance and Corporate governance and Risk Management
- Deliver excellence in Procurement, including commercial and process ownership for all sourcing activities
- Manage direct reports, develop talent and strengthen staff capability; ensure all staff receive appropriate training and fair support for career development
- Pursue continuous improvement and innovation through digital solutions
WHO YOU ARE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- 8–10+ years of strategic sourcing and team leadership experience. Background in multinational environments within the airline, travel, or hospitality industries is advantageous.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills with a proven track record in end-to-end contracting (CMS), e-sourcing tools, cost-saving strategies, proactive risk mitigation (e.g., energy/fuel hedging), and supplier performance management.
- Highly detail-oriented and analytical, with strong numerical literacy.
- Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet tools (MS Excel / Google Sheets) to drive data-led procurement insights.
- Excellent project management, change management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, build cross-functional relationships, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively in diverse, cross-cultural team environments, with strong ethics, integrity, and emotional intelligence.
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
