General Description

A hands-on technology and HR service delivery professional to serve as the functional lead for Workday and drive automation, reporting, and process optimization across the employee lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building solutions, solving complex problems, and leveraging technology to enhance the delivery of HR services.

The role will focus on optimizing Workday, automating manual processes, enhancing employee self-service, and delivering actionable workforce insights. This position will help transform how employees access HR support and interact with HR technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary functional owner and subject matter expert for Workday.
• Configure and optimize business processes, security, reporting, dashboards, calculated fields, and integrations.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual HR processes using Workday, Power Platform, and related technologies.
• Design scalable self-service experiences for employees and managers.
• Develop workforce reports, dashboards, and analytics to support business decision-making.
• Support annual compensation, performance, talent, and workforce planning processes.
• Partner on AI-enabled and digital HR initiatives that improve efficiency and employee experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
• 7+ years of Workday experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Workday configuration experience, including HCM, Talent, Recruitment and Advanced Compensation modules
• Strong expertise in Workday Business Processes, Security, Reporting, Calculated Fields, EIBs, and data management.
• Workday integration knowledge, including familiarity with Workday Web Services, RaaS reports, REST APIs, and API limits, with experience using integrations to support automation.
• Experience implementing workflow automation and process improvements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

• Power Platform expertise, including designing and supporting enterprise workflows in Power Automate and Power Apps that reduce manual handoffs and connect business processes across systems.
• Technical ecosystem fluency, including the ability to connect tools such as Microsoft Dataverse, Azure AI services, and Workday endpoints into a cohesive service experience.
• Exposure to conversational AI, chatbot, or retrieval-augmented generation tools beyond Copilot Studio.
• Experience building a Microsoft Teams app, bot, or embedded service experience.
• Experience with ServiceNow or another ITSM platform, especially in a knowledge management or service delivery context.

In your first year, you will:

• Automate multiple high-volume HR processes, reducing manual effort by 20%+.
• Improve Workday data accuracy and reporting capabilities.
• Increase employee and manager self-service adoption.
• Reduce HR administrative workload through automation and streamlined workflows.
• Deliver scalable technology solutions that improve efficiency, compliance, and employee experience.

Working Conditions

• Flexible hybrid work arrangement.
• Standard work week of 37.5 hours.
• This position will be part of the Global team and will collaborate with colleagues across different regions.

Compensation Range

$115,000 - $145,000
