About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and submitting regulatory and management reports while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines. You will work closely with stakeholders across business and support functions to support reporting initiatives, data quality management, regulatory change projects, and automation efforts that enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
What you will be doing
- Support the Operations department in preparing and submitting new and existing external and internal reports, including data analysis, extraction rule definition, data preparation, cleansing, testing, verification, implementation, monitoring, and tracking.
- Ensure the accuracy and timely submission of regulatory reports to MAS, including MAS 610, MAS 649, SDIC Reporting, CRS, FATCA, and OTC Derivatives Reporting.
- Investigate, remediate, and review potential data quality issues impacting regulatory reporting.
- Participate in report automation and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Keep abreast of regulatory changes and Group guidelines, ensuring reporting processes remain compliant.
- Review and manage the delivery of regulatory reporting change projects and enhancements.
- Establish effective controls and collaborate with stakeholders across business and support functions to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors on regulatory reporting matters.
- Ensure proper documentation, record keeping, and backup of reports.
- Assist with ad hoc duties and projects as assigned.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in regulatory reporting, financial reporting, operations, audit, compliance, or banking operations.
- Knowledge of MAS regulatory reporting requirements, including MAS 610, MAS 649, SDIC, CRS, FATCA, and OTC Derivatives reporting, will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience in data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting processes.
- Familiarity with report automation, data management, and process improvement initiatives is preferred.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
