The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
The person hired for the position of Manager, Key Account, SpaceX will build strong working relationships, seek opportunities and develop plans to grow sales at large and complex end using accounts, and elevate current relationships to higher executive levels.

 

As a Manager, Key Account, SpaceX, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Leads and coordinates engagement with SpaceX Commercial, Security and Defense              
• Develop relationships at all levels of SpaceX, including sourcing, engineering, program management and C- suite
• Identifies, influences, and leads mutually beneficial projects within all relevant business units of SpaceX
• Works with assigned accounts to follow through on agreed upon objectives                                                                                                          
• Determines competitive share opportunities and creates plans to win share
• Develops and executes plans to deliver the strategy for SpaceX
• Maps and identifies opportunities to strengthen the relationships between 3M and SpaceX                                          
• Implements best practices across multiple locations 

Company Vehicle

This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
• Seven (7) years of experience selling and managing relationships with large and complex end user accounts in a private, public, government, or military environment
• Current, valid Driver’s License.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Advanced degree in business or technical from an accredited institution
• Experience in space, military or aerospace markets
• Ten (10) years’ experience with strategic key account management
• Experience and demonstrated success in representing technical products and materials
• Demonstrated success in working with SpaceX and/or other Space OEM’s
• Experience in negotiating and managing agreements
• Demonstrated strong collaboration and networking skill set
• Experience engaging with and influencing executive levels of organizations

Work location:

• Remote CA, TX or WA

Travel: May include up to 50% domestic

Relocation: May be authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $164,612 - $201,193, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
