What You Will Do:

• Build, coach, and develop high-performing engineering teams, with emphasis on employee engagement, career development, performance management, and succession planning.
• Create an accountable, inclusive, and collaborative culture that enables employees to grow and deliver business outcomes.
• Lead engineering delivery, sustainment, modernization, quality, reliability, and continuous improvement across onboard productivity applications.
• Balance customer commitments, product investments, technical debt, and strategic priorities through effective planning, decision-making, and stakeholder alignment.
• Apply strong product and customer domain knowledge to guide priorities, decisions, and next-generation onboard productivity application initiatives.
• Champion modern engineering practices, automation, quality engineering, and DevOps to improve delivery effectiveness.
• Lead adoption of AI-enabled engineering tools and practices to improve productivity, quality, and development velocity.
• Drive change management that helps teams adopt new technologies, processes, and ways of working while sustaining engagement and delivery.
• Collaborate with global product, architecture, quality, and engineering stakeholders to achieve customer and business objectives.

What You Have (Basic Requirements):

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Managing People: Relentlessly committed to building, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
• Business and Domain Leadership: Strong understanding of onboard productivity applications, customer workflows, operational challenges, and business value.
• Experience leading product delivery, sustainment, modernization, and continuous improvement while balancing customer, business, and technical needs.
• Change Leadership: Ability to influence adoption of new tools, processes, AI-enabled practices, and ways of working.
• Communicating for Impact: Ability to communicate directly, build alignment, and influence stakeholders across product and engineering organizations.
• Technical Acumen: Sufficient technical depth to guide engineering decisions, provide effective leadership to engineering teams, and partner successfully with architects and technical leaders.
• Experience working in Agile and/or SAFe development environments.

What Will Set You Apart (Preferred Qualifications):

• Experience supporting mining technology, machine applications, fleet management, autonomy, or industrial software solutions.
• Deep product and customer domain expertise gained through ownership of complex software products and solutions.
• Experience leading geographically distributed software and systems engineering teams.
• Demonstrated success driving organizational transformation, engineering excellence, and AI-enabled productivity improvements.
