We’re looking for a talented Engineering Manager to lead a team responsible for developing, supporting, and maintaining our class-leading Disclosure Management Product. The chosen candidate must be a self-starter, possess great organizational skills, and have excellent communication abilities. A proven results-oriented person with a delivery focus and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate must have a passion for building high performance team, leading them and at the same time cares about code quality, and be committed to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• You will Own end-to-end delivery of software: from technical design through sprint execution to production – with full accountability for quality and timelines.

• You will guide team in designs/architecture, develop good quality of code, review PRs and be a technical expert and mentor

• Influence the product roadmap to ensure it incorporates necessary technical investments and considers longer-term architectural goals

• Establish and continually improve development and team processes that yield maximum efficiency in day-to-day engineering operations

• Provide just in time feedback, conduct 1:1s, annual reviews, and find continuous improvement opportunities

• Work closely with the Product teams to develop the best technical design and approach for product development

• Be a leader amongst the team in solving complex software development items that meet customer expectations.

• Responsible for the over-all systems development life cycle within an Agile-SCRUM development process

• Management and execution against project plans and delivery commitments

• Partner with cross-functional teams — Product, QA, DevOps, and Customer Success — to deliver releases that enterprise clients can depend on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent demonstrated engineering depth

• 12+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing enterprise SaaS applications on the .NET framework, .NET Core, C# stack

• 2+ years of engineering team management experience with a proven record of growing engineers and retaining high performers

• Experience in solving complex problems

• Experience in designing and developing SaaS applications using distributed systems and modern web frameworks (React, Angular)

• Proven experience using ORMs, Entity Framework, or NHibernate

• Proven experience using relational DBMS, MS SQL Server preferred

• Previous experience with microservices, REST APIs, or WCF

• Solid understanding of web applications including security, session management, and best practices

• Strong communication skills in English – both written and verbal
