Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: 6th October City, Cairo, Egypt
Position Overview
H.B. Fuller seeks a Maintenance Technician III to support the reliability, maintenance, and continuous operation of site utilities and facility equipment at our Giza, Egypt location. This role is responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical, automation, HVAC, and utility systems to minimize downtime and ensure safe operations. The position partners with Engineering, Operations, and external contractors to maintain equipment performance and facility standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on utility and facility equipment
- Troubleshoot and maintain PLC, DCS, and industrial electrical control systems
- Inspect and maintain boilers, chillers, compressors, generators, and water treatment systems
- Support HVAC maintenance and coordinate major repairs with service providers
- Execute scheduled maintenance activities and document completed work
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend reliability improvements
- Maintain 5S standards and ensure safe working practices in utility areas
- Support facility maintenance activities, including electrical and building systems
Minimum Requirements
- Technical Diploma or Industrial Technical Institute qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline
- 5–7 years of maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Experience troubleshooting electrical, automation, and utility systems
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Authorization to work in Egypt and ability to work safely around industrial equipment and high-temperature systems
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in a multinational manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of PLC and DCS control systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications
- Experience maintaining HVAC, boilers, compressors, or utility infrastructure systems
