Job Description:
Hiltop at Senior Village is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician II with a strong background in drywall repair and finishing and well-rounded apartment maintenance skills. This is a hands-on position for a skilled technician who can independently complete high-quality repairs, unit turns, and maintenance projects across multiple trades.
What You’ll Do
- Complete apartment unit turns with minimal contractor support
- Perform drywall installation, patching, texturing, finishing, sanding, and repairs
- Complete carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and general maintenance repairs
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems
- Address water damage, wall restoration, and interior repairs
- Perform preventive maintenance in apartments and common areas
- Respond to maintenance requests and complete repairs in a timely, professional manner
- Maintain safe, clean, and well-maintained buildings and grounds
- Follow company standards, safety procedures, and applicable building codes
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and track inventory and supplies
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of residential or apartment maintenance experience required
- Advanced skills in drywall finishing, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work
- Ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex maintenance issues
- HVAC experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to complete unit turns efficiently and professionally
- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical training, certifications, or trade experience are a plus
- Valid driver’s license required
Additional Requirements
- Participation in an on-call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
