We are currently seeking a skilled Mainline Excavator Operator to join our growing team.

Position Responsibilities
- Precision Excavation: Excavate line and grade for mainline waterline, sewer, storm drain, and water pipe according to project plans.
- Utility Safety: Masterfully excavate around existing utilities with high precision.
- Technical Implementation: Understand and execute trench depth, grade compaction, pothole procedures, and pipeline installation.
- Safety Leadership: Act as the OSHA Certified Competent Person for trenching and shoring; implement rigging and shoring practices to ensure a safe environment for all.
- Equipment Care: Maintain thorough knowledge of equipment maintenance to ensure fleet reliability.
- Project Oversight: Read plans accurately and keep the crew organized and on task to meet goals and deadlines.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Proven track record in mainline excavation and pipe utilities.
- Certification: OSHA Certified Competent Person for trenching and shoring.
- Attitude: A positive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to follow supervisor directions.
- Communication: Effective communication skills with co-workers and supervisors.
- Compliance: Must pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing (Drug-Free Workplace).
Physically, workers must be able to:
- Stoop, bend, and crouch
- Use hands, arms, and legs fully
- See well (either naturally or with correction)
- Lift up to 50 pounds, with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
