About the role:
You will play a critical role in leading the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.

What is expected:

• Provide leadership and expertise in the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Fiserv's business goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform advanced coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers and team members.
• Drive innovation and best practices within the software development team.

Experience needed:

• 12+ years of experience in software development along with leadership qualities.
• 8+ years of experience in Mainframe – Assembler, COBOL, CICS, Java, C, C#, C++, or similar programming languages
• 8+ years of experience in SQL databases
• 8+ years of experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP services
• 8+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and Agile methodologies
• Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

• Experience in the financial services industry.

How you’ll work:

• This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration essential because office experiences support onboarding and stronger productivity.
• Provide on-call support as required..
• This is a full-time, direct-hire position. Contract options and unsolicited agency submissions will not be considered.
