Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for set up, configuration, and operation of roll forming mill to form linear energetic products in accordance with documented specifications
• Operate wire sheath extrusion machines
• Operate machines that load and reduce linear energetic product in accordance with specifications
• Perform fabrication of linear energetic product as defined in Manufacturing Instructions using machinery and tooling
• Clean, measure, cut, sample, spool, coil and pack product
• Maintain quality and accuracy requirements
• Perform all safety and quality checks on the equipment
• Work with engineering team to develop new manufacturing procedures for linear energetic products
• Contribute towards continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain a safe and orderly work environment
Requirements:
• Excels in a dynamic, changeable work environment
• Energetic and positive attitude
• Ability to work independently
• Certificate or greater in machining related field, or prior machine setup and/or metal working machine experience (1 year), or roll forming operator experience (1 year)
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions in English
• Must be able to pass company administered competency test
• Demonstrate capability to use basic measuring tools (Calipers, micrometer, etc.)
• Demonstrate capability to read and understand engineering drawings (preferred)
• Experience using Optical Comparators/Shadowgraphs (preferred)
• Background using 5S/lean manufacturing principles (preferred)
