Job Description:

Position Summary

The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating manufacturing equipment used to produce fasteners for commercial construction applications. This position may operate up to four complete lines of equipment and is responsible for maintaining production quality, equipment condition, workplace safety, and accurate documentation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up and operate up to four complete lines of in-line manufacturing equipment used to produce fasteners for commercial construction applications.
• Set up and operate cold-heading, pointing, and thread-rolling equipment.
• Maintain machinery by performing required preventive maintenance activities.
• Conduct quality checks in accordance with applicable specification sheets.
• Complete all required production and quality documentation accurately.
• Support and promote established workplace safety practices and procedures.
• Identify and report potential safety hazards.
• Ensure all housekeeping practices and procedures are followed.
• Perform required 5S activities and improvements.
• Collaborate with other team members to support production and operational needs.
• Participate in team events and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Hourly base salary for this position is $18.50, plus applicable shift differential of $2.00. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
