Position Overview
Join a Med‑Surg Ortho unit where teamwork is our greatest strength and patient education is at the heart of what we do!The Medical Surgical Orthopedic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at United Health Services (UHS) provides patient-centered nursing care to individuals recovering from orthopedic surgery, injury, and medical-surgical conditions. Guided by UHS values of Trust, Compassion, Respect, Teamwork, and Innovation, the Med Surg Ortho LPN supports patients through all phases of care, with a focus on mobility, pain management, safety, and recovery.

Primary Department, Division, or Unit:
M6 Med-Surg Orthopedics, UHS Binghamton General HospitalWork Shift and Schedule:
This is a per diem position, which means you will work on an as needed, agreed upon basis. Working hours will be assigned by your manager.
Compensation Range:
$25.27 - $37.90 per hour, depending on experienceThis position is not eligible for benefits.

Education/Experience
- Minimum Required:
- Graduated an accredited school of Practical Nursing
- Preferred:
- Experience working in critical care or hospital environment
License/Certification
- Minimum Required:
- Current New York State Practical Nurse License or Permit
- Preferred:
- Basic Skills Certifications (CPR)
