Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)

Location: Cape Coral, Florida
Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Position: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year + full benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

About the Position

We’re hiring an LMHC to provide individual counseling through telehealth. You’ll work with clients during scheduled appointments and help them address the concerns that are affecting their mental health and daily lives.

This position offers a consistent weekday schedule and the flexibility of working remotely. You’ll manage your clinical caseload, document your work, and coordinate with the team when a client needs additional support.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Conduct individual counseling sessions through secure video
• Complete intake assessments and gather relevant client information
• Discuss treatment goals and determine appropriate areas of focus
• Provide counseling for concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, grief, and adjustment
• Keep session notes and electronic records accurate and up to date
• Review client needs and modify treatment when appropriate
• Identify when referrals or additional services may be needed

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field
• Active LMHC license in Florida
• License must be current and in good standing
• Previous experience providing therapy to adults, families, or diverse client populations
• Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records
• Strong written communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting
