Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW)

Location: Iowa
Salary: $115,000 - $120,000 per year
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Setting: Telehealth / Remote

This full-time remote counseling position is open to clinicians licensed in Iowa. The role involves providing telehealth services to clients experiencing a range of mental health concerns. You will be responsible for client assessments, counseling sessions, treatment planning, follow-up care, and clinical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide virtual counseling services to clients in Iowa
• Conduct initial assessments and review presenting concerns
• Develop treatment plans based on client needs
• Address concerns such as anxiety, stress, mood changes, relationship issues, and life transitions
• Monitor client progress and make changes to treatment when appropriate
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Protect client confidentiality and follow professional and ethical standards

Requirements

• Must hold an active Iowa license in one of the following accepted credentials: Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW)
• Background in mental health counseling, psychotherapy, or clinical social work
• Comfortable using telehealth platforms and digital records
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work independently while staying organized and client-focused
