About the study
We're conducting research studies with domain experts in various foundational fields. This gives us context about the problems practitioners in the field solve, their reasoning principles and delivery style among other benchmarks.
This is a fully remote, 2-day study. Participants have to answer a questionnaire about their domain modeled on real frequently asked questions by clients and interact with team members posing as clients.
What the two days look like
We build a customised questionnaire for each participant based on their experience and area of work, the questionnaire also includes interactive sections where members of our team step in and ask certain different questions to add more perspective. Sessions run for 8-9 hours a day with ample of breaks. No need for any advance preparation.
What you'll need: a computer with a webcam and microphone, a stable internet connection, and a quiet space.
Who we're looking for
An undergraduate degree in law (LLB or equivalent)
5+ years in a client-facing legal role or in legal research, such as advocate, legal advisor, in-house counsel or legal researcher
Comfortable explaining your reasoning in English, Hindi or another Indian language

A tenant in Bengaluru asks: "I moved out two months ago and my landlord still hasn't returned my ₹1.5 lakh deposit." What would you ask them, and what would you advise?
A buyer's phone stopped working 10 days after purchase and the online seller is ignoring them. They ask if they can go to consumer court.
A woman's brothers say daughters have no share in their late father's ancestral property. She asks what her rights are.
Someone has received a police notice under Section 35 of the BNSS asking them to appear, and wants to know what to do.
Payment
Every participant is paid. The amount depends on your expertise and experience, and is agreed before confirmation of participation.
30% is paid in advance once your participation is confirmed.
The remaining 70% is paid on Day 2, before the study ends.
All payments are made by bank transfer.
How we use your responses
Your responses are not used directly to train any AI model. Our researchers study how you reason and communicate to build an internal scorecard.
Recordings are stored securely and seen only by our research team.
We never sell or share recordings outside Anuvaya Labs.
Recordings are kept as part of our long-term research archive.

With your consent, we credit you by name for your contribution.
Every participant receives a certificate of contribution.

Intro call. If you're shortlisted, a call to get to know you and answer your questions.
Confirmation. Agree on dates and payment terms, followed by the 30% advance.
The study. With remaining payment made on Day 2.
