ROLE SUMMARY

The Learning & Capability Impact Analyst is a senior individual-contributor role that owns the analytics conducted against the priority programs and training delivered to customer-facing colleagues — and the registry of studies and statistical analyses that governs them. This role sustains readiness, scoring and portfolio-level impact analysis on a standing cadence, executes rigorous study designs within the team’s impact methodology, and delivers the competency-to-outcome evidence that connects the learning architecture to field results. Partnering with Finance and the team’s Budget Coordinator, the role connects program investment to measured outcome — building the ROI and bottom-line impact view that leadership uses to direct learning investment across the portfolio.

The role works closely with the Learning Effectiveness & Impact Directors, the Learning Data & Solutions Manager, the Learning Architecture Lead, and business analytics and finance partners — delivering insight to business, architecture, and delivery stakeholders that shapes decisions. This individual will operate in a matrixed environment that requires agility, the ability to see patterns, and modeling “lightspeed” behaviors. The ideal candidate combines statistical and analytical rigor, financial fluency, and clear, compelling communication to help the team achieve our broader capability aspiration, deliver on our mission and vision, and support aligned business objectives.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Stewards the registry of measurement studies — the governed inventory of analyses and statistical studies across the portfolio — managing intake, standards, instruments, status and findings so every study builds on proven designs and every finding stays usable.
• Sustain the standing measurement cadence: readiness scoring by customer-facing role, program tracking against stated outcome measures, and portfolio-level impact analysis.
• Execute study design and analysis — comparison groups, pre/post measurement, statistical support — within the impact methodology owned by the broader team.
• Deliver the competency-to-outcome correlation analyses that connect the learning architecture to measured field and business results.
• Partner with Finance and the Budget Coordinator to connect program cost to measured outcome; build ROI and bottom-line impact cases for priority programs and the portfolio.
• Deliver insights to business, architecture and delivery stakeholders — analysis that informs decisions, prioritization and investment.
• Manage reporting and communication of budget and program performance to internal stakeholders, translating analysis into clear, actionable recommendations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• BA/BS with 6+ years, or MBA/MS with 5+ years, of experience in financial analysis, program performance measurement, learning analytics or evaluation, or a combination of related experience.
• Expertise in study design and comparison methods for program evaluation, with strong statistical grounding.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills; PowerBI, Excel and modern visualization tools.
• Financial literacy — comfortable working with budget data, cost models and ROI construction, with Finance partnership.
• Ability to gather, synthesize and translate business requirements into actionable, stakeholder-aligned insight.
• Executive presence; excellent interpersonal, presentation and writing skills.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree
• Experience with Pfizer learning platforms and business measures for brands and customer-facing colleagues.
• Registry, PMO or portfolio-governance experience.
• Commercial pharmaceutical analytics experience.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $124,400.00 to $207,400.00.* In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
