Lead Quality Engineer
Job requirements
Experience Range: 4–6 years of QA/testing experience, including at least 3 years specifically working with Salesforce CPQ applications Key Responsibilities:
Design and execute comprehensive test strategies and test cases for Salesforce CPQ applications, validating all business and technical requirementsPerform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing across configuration, pricing, quoting, approvals, and integrations within the CPQ domainInvestigate production and pre-production defects, conduct detailed root cause analysis, and identify whether issues originate from configuration, code, data, integrations, or business rulesValidate defect fixes, perform regression testing for enhancements, releases, patches, and hotfixes, and ensure issues are resolved without recurrenceTest CPQ functionalities including quoting, approvals, product configuration, pricing customization, quote templates, contracts, and renewalsValidate integrations between CPQ and CRM, ERP, billing, and other upstream/downstream systems, including API and data validationCollaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and support teams to resolve defects efficiently and enhance CPQ process qualityCreate and maintain test scenarios, test cases, test data, and defect documentation, and contribute to QA process automation and continuous improvementRequired Skills:
Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ platformProficiency in Salesforce CPQ custom scriptingAdvanced knowledge of Salesforce CPQ quoting and approvalsExperience with Salesforce CPQ product configuration and pricing customizationProficiency in Salesforce CPQ quote templates, contracts, and renewalsExperience testing integrations between CPQ and CRM or ERP systemsWorking knowledge of SQL and databases for data validationPreferred Skills:
Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and web services in CPQ integrationsFamiliarity with test automation tools and frameworks for CPQ applicationsKnowledge of CI/CD and release management processesExperience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar test/defect management toolsExposure to performance and security testing in enterprise environmentsBackground in production support and incident management for CPQ systemsDesired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a closely related disciplineSalesforce Certified CPQ Specialist or equivalent certificationISTQB Foundation Level or similar QA/testing certification
