Manages and leads development and implementation of purchasing policies, strategies and operations. Accountable for managing the negotiation of favorable terms, volume discounts, and long-term contracts. Is responsible for preparing and processing the requisitions and purchase orders for procurement of goods, services, and supplies for internal use or customer-related business processes. Provides leadership and technical guidance to professional employees and is accountable for their performance and results as a team.
