The Department: Regional Operations

The Role: Lead, Operations & Growth

We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented candidate to join Gemini’s Singapore team, sitting at the intersection of our Singapore operations and growth mandate. The role is designed to align toward a more generalist skillset to broadly support the Singapore business covering the following areas:

1. Working with our highest value clients to enable a seamless and world class experience on Gemini
2. Owning key processes for the Singapore entity such as outsourcing management
3. Leading execution on our local growth efforts and customer reactivations

You will collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Compliance/Legal, and Customer Support teams to achieve the above.

Responsibilities:

Operations & Process Management

• Take ownership of our Outsourcing processes and governance practices and ensure adherence to MAS requirements. 
• Run monthly/quarterly processes check-ins with key stakeholders across audit, compliance, legal, and management and ensure we identify and plug any gaps.
• Assess and own the material and reporting for this process by working with stakeholders to enhance and improve our monitoring and reporting.
• Work closely with our audit and compliance teams to understand the latest regulations with regard to any MAS mandates in this area.
• Work with counterparts across various teams such as risk, product, compliance to identity gaps, come up with a plan to plug them, and finally ensure they are completed. 
• Assess and monitor all SLAs with regard to operational and outsourcing based processes.

Growth & Activation

• Work closely with Singapore leadership to drive our Singapore growth agenda across product and local activation.
• Own the Singapore growth roadmap and execute the plan by working cross functionally with stakeholders across marketing and product.
• Monitor Singapore’s performance and run weekly/monthly growth meets to take stock and plan next steps.
• Support the Gemini team during Token 2049 and other major industry events, coordinating promotions, activations, and on-the-ground support to maximise impact.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Gemini’s top-tier VIP traders, ensuring their issues are resolved promptly, effectively, and with the highest standard of care.
• Conduct regular check-ins and meetings with VIP clients to understand their evolving needs, gather feedback, and proactively address potential friction points.
• Champion the voice of the VIP customer internally, bringing structured feedback and insights back to the broader product and operations teams.
• Organise and facilitate product workshops tailored to VIP customers, giving them early insight into new features and gathering high-signal feedback.
• Plan and execute VIP trader events and dinners, creating meaningful touchpoints that strengthen client relationships and deepen loyalty.

Qualifications:

• 6–8 years of experience in financial operations/ growth and marketing/client-facing roles within financial services, fintech, or crypto.
• Good understanding of crypto platforms, operations, client support and management.
• Experience running growth plans using channels such as content, events, PR, and reactivation programs.
• Project management experience running cross functional mandates.
• Ability to be data driven and comfortable working with numbers.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients or stakeholders.
• Highly organised, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities under time pressure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to convey complex issues clearly and professionally.
• A collaborative mindset with experience working across cross-functional teams, including technology and product teams.
• Passion for crypto and Web3; prior experience in a crypto exchange or digital asset environment is a strong plus.
• Experience planning or supporting industry events (e.g., Token 2049, Consensus) is advantageous.
