Job Summary

Responsible for driving operational excellence by overseeing sales processes, pricing strategies, and inventory management while fostering associate development.  Serves as a dependable resource for resolving issues and bridging communication between contributors and leadership.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

• Oversees prospecting and lead generation to support growth objectives.

• Manages complex pricing strategies and margin governance to ensure profitability.

• Directs inventory management and monitors turns to maintain optimal stock levels.

• Supports onboarding of new associates to promote seamless integration.

• Resolves customer service issues and tracks order management for transparency.

• Coordinates shared operational tasks to maintain dependable service delivery.

• Functions as an Inside Sales contributor when needed to ensure service continuity.

• Assists with training and development of associates to build team capability.

• Mentors underperforming associates to improve results and uphold standards.

Nature and Scope

• Problems are typically difficult and/or high impact. Troubleshoots complex support or operational problems for junior level associates.

• Under limited supervision, independently resolves issues and applies a variety of methods to develop customized solutions. May lead the daily operations of a department or team. Work typically involves infrequent review of output by a supervisor or direct customers of the process.

• Assists with supervisory duties but does not have hiring/firing authority. Trains, delegates tasks, and reviews the work of junior level associates.

Work Environment

• Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

• Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

• Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Education and Experience

• Technical certification or associate degree may be required in some areas. Generally 7+ years of experience in area of responsibility.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrates strong leadership and mentoring skills to support associate development.

• Applies advanced pricing and margin management knowledge to achieve financial goals.

• Exhibits organizational and analytical skills for inventory oversight and operational tasks.

• Communicates effectively and transparently to bridge contributors and leadership.

• Shows adaptability to perform Inside Sales functions when required.
