Sobre esta vaga de Lead Enterprise UX Designer na Terra Quantum
Job description
We are hiring a Lead Enterprise UX Designer to help lead UX across Terra Quantum’s enterprise software portfolio. This is a senior, hands-on role reporting directly to the Head of UX. You will lead major initiatives, mentor other designers, and help maintain our design system and UX standards.
Your initial work will focus on enterprise security products that identify cryptographic risk and help security teams prioritize remediation. Later work will include optimization software for warehouse operations and customer-facing machine-learning solutions for areas such as predictive maintenance and production forecasting.
The role requires strong qualitative research, systems thinking, information architecture, and interaction design. You will participate in Product-led ideation and event storming sessions, conduct user interviews, contribute to surveys, and work closely with Engineering on integration, permissions, data, and implementation constraints.
Some projects require polished interfaces for demonstrations and executive communication. Production solutions often need to fit into systems customers already use. The design problems therefore extend beyond screens to how complex technical capabilities fit into real enterprise workflows. You will help determine when a new interface adds value and when an integration, embedded workflow, or administrative surface is the better solution.
Qualifications
Required
- 7+ years of professional experience in UX, interaction design, product design, or a closely related field.
- Portfolio evidence showing research, information architecture, interaction design, and the reasoning behind major design decisions.
- Direct experience conducting qualitative user research, including interviews and usability studies.
- Experience designing complex enterprise, industrial, scientific, security, or other data-intensive software.
- Experience translating research findings into workflows, information architecture, interaction models, prototypes, or product recommendations.
- Experience working directly with Product and Engineering throughout discovery, design, and implementation.
- Experience mentoring designers or leading design critique.
Desired
- Experience with enterprise security, identity, access control, or data governance products.
- Experience with ERP, warehouse-management, logistics, or other operational enterprise systems.
- Experience designing products that integrate into existing customer platforms rather than operate only as standalone applications.
- Experience with optimization, machine learning, analytics, or decision-support software.
- Experience maintaining or contributing to a design system.
- Experience with accessibility standards and inclusive design.
- Experience working in distributed or research-driven technical organizations.
Responsibilities
Overall
- Lead UX research and design for complex enterprise software initiatives.
- Translate research into information architecture, workflows, interaction models, prototypes, and design recommendations.
- Participate in Product-led discovery, ideation, and event storming activities.
- Work closely with Engineering on data, permissions, integrations, and implementation constraints.
- Determine when a capability needs a new interface and when an embedded workflow or integration better fits the customer environment.
- Mentor designers and contribute to design critique, standards, and design-system stewardship.
- Review implementation to ensure delivered experiences match the intended design.
Day-to-day
- Conduct customer and user interviews, usability studies, and workflow analysis.
- Synthesize research into design decisions, prototypes, and specifications.
- Join Product-led discovery, ideation, and event-storming sessions.
- Review workflows, permissions, data requirements, and integration constraints with Engineering.
- Create and review interaction designs and production-ready interface designs.
- Participate in design critique and maintain consistency with the company design system.
- Review implemented work with engineers and resolve design issues during delivery.

Company description
Quantum technologies have the potential to solve some of the world’s biggest challenges. There have been great advances in all areas of quantum technologies, and new fields of application are opened up every day. Hybrid computer systems that combine classic high-performance computing with quantum computers are already being used to develop solutions in sectors such as logistics, healthcare, finance, energy, automotive and aerospace. Quantum mechanical predictions are also used to obtain unprecedented precision in measurements, generate unbreakable codes, and form the basis of impenetrable communication networks. All these developments are happening right now, and they are happening at Terra Quantum.
At Terra Quantum we are building the world’s leading Quantum Technology company. We offer customers world-class quantum technology expertise organized as “quantum-as-a-service”: hybrid quantum algorithms, quantum compute and quantum enabled security solutions. Through the proprietary quantum cloud, customers have access to a unique technology platform which provides a toolset to solve real-world challenges in the realms of machine learning, optimization and simulation, today. In 2022, the company closed its Series A financing round with a $75m fundraise.
Quantum physics has, in some respects, parallels to the machine language of our computers-the zeros and ones into which our keyboard or touchscreen instructions are translated for execution in the computer-only on a larger scale: it is the machine language of the universe. The second quantum revolution is based on the control of individual quantum systems, such as individual atoms. We use quantum computers to solve currently unsolvable problems, simulate molecules and their interactions, find drugs for diseases that are not yet curable, find new materials, or make artificial intelligence stronger. Quantum is now.
Terra Quantum is a future-focused quantum services and technology company working on making the second quantum revolution a reality. Terra Quantum’s activities span all areas, markets, and industries globally.
- Our purpose is to pioneer quantum technologies to change the world for good,
- Our vision is to lead the quantum revolution and be the trailblazer in technology solutions, shaping a better future for humankind to thrive in, and
- Our mission is to unleash the power of quantum tech to deliver meaningful solutions today
Terra Quantum is an equal opportunities employer, committed to diversity, inclusion and employee well-being.
