We are seeking a proficient Middleware L3 Engineer to specialize in assisting application teams with patching middleware products, including common frameworks such as .NET, Java Runtime Environment (JRE)/Java Development Kit (JDK), Application Servers like Apache Tomcat, IBM WebSphere, Message-Oriented Middleware (MOM) changed to IBM MQ, and Web Servers across Linux and Windows systems. This role involves providing expert guidance on patching strategies, automating patch deployment processes, analyzing vulnerabilities, and recommending remediation patterns to ensure system security and reliability. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate closely with application teams to understand their middleware patching requirements for frameworks like .NET, JRE/JDK, Application Servers (e.g., Apache Tomcat, IBM WebSphere), MOM systems (e.g., IBM MQ), and Web Servers on both Linux and Windows platforms. 

• Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices related to middleware technologies encompassing various frameworks like .NET,. JRE/JDK,. Application Servers,. MOM,. Web Servers for effective patch management and security measures. 

• Engage with cross-functional teams to coordinate seamless patch deployments while minimizing operational disruptions caused by the patching process. 

• Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments on middleware applications based on .NET, JRE/JDK, Application Servers (Apache Tomcat, IBM WebSphere), MOM systems (IBM MQ), and Web Servers technologies; evaluate risks; and propose effective remediation approaches. 

• Develop automation solutions for efficiently patching middleware products utilizing common frameworks on diverse operating systems. 

Requirements: 

• Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team in a dynamic work environment. 

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with application teams and stakeholders. 

• Strong background in vulnerability analysis specific to middleware applications leveraging .NET,JRE/JDK ,Application servers(MOM),Web servers technologies; implementing appropriate remediation strategies accordingly. 

• Proficient scripting skills (e.g., Python, Shell scripting) for automating middleware patching tasks across different platforms. 

• Extensive hands-on experience working with common middleware frameworks such as .NET, JRE/JDK, Application Servers like Apache Tomcat and IBM WebSphere,MOM systems like IBM MQ,and Web Servers like Apache HTTP Server on Linux and Windows environments. 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Relevant certifications in middleware technologies or specific frameworks mentioned above would be advantageous.

• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible,Puppet,Chef

• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
