Our client a Luxury Hotel in Montenegro, Europe is looking for a Kitchen Cleaner to support the smooth running of a busy hospitality operation. This role is essential to maintaining the high cleanliness and hygiene standards expected in a professional hotel kitchen environment. You will help create a safe, organized, and efficient workspace for the wider culinary team by ensuring all cleaning and sanitation tasks are completed thoroughly and consistently.

In this role, you will play an important part in day-to-day kitchen operations by keeping work areas clean, equipment ready for use, and disposal areas properly maintained. The position suits someone who takes pride in dependable work, pays close attention to detail, and is comfortable working as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.

This is a seasonal position expected to start in March 2027 and continue until the end of October 2027.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize kitchen floors, walls, countertops, and work surfaces.
• Maintain the cleanliness of food preparation areas, storage rooms, and kitchen facilities.
• Clean kitchen equipment, sinks, drains, and other designated areas.
• Collect and dispose of kitchen waste properly, following waste management procedures.
• Ensure cleaning materials and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
• Assist kitchen staff with general cleaning and sanitation duties when required.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness at all times.
• Follow hotel safety procedures and proper cleaning protocols.
• Ensure the kitchen remains clean, organized, and free from hazards.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Cleaner, Kitchen Steward, General Cleaner, or in a similar role is an advantage.
• Experience working in a hotel, restaurant, or commercial kitchen environment is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene, cleaning procedures, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
• Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods and performing manual cleaning tasks.
• Hardworking, reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Willingness to relocate to Montenegro and commit to the full seasonal contract.

Benefits

Net salary of €600 per month, approximately €300–400 in seasonal service charge, three meals daily, and free accommodation.
