About the role

We’re looking for a passionate Junior User Researcher to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone with an analytical mindset and strong interest in user-centered design and a knack for turning insights into actionable improvements.

In addition to core user research responsibilities, we need someone who’s comfortable diving into design tools to develop UX prototypes. You’ll partner with other user researchers helping set up and analyze design studies and building testable prototypes yourself.

What you'll do

• Plan and execute user research studies (e.g., usability testing, interviews, surveys, product benchmarking / capability mapping).
• Synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights for the product team.
• Collaborate with Product Designers and Product Managers to define and refine research goals.
• Create lightweight prototypes or wireframes for testing purposes.
• Contribute to the setup facilitation and analysis of design validation tests.
• Document and share research learnings across teams.
• Learning from this all along the way, and getting better every time you do it.

About you

Must have skills:

• Foundational knowledge of user-centered research methods and tools.
• Familiarity with tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar. Ability to wireframe or prototype is a must.
• User research, UX design or related fields. Entry-level candidates with strong portfolios are welcome.

It would be nice if you:

• Strong communication and teamwork skills, especially when working with cross-functional teams.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and an eagerness to learn.
• English proficiency
• Knowledge of usability testing platforms (e.g., UserTesting, Lookback.io) or data analysis.

Your growth trajectory

In your first 3 months you'll work alongside our User Researchers collecting data with a range of primary methods, dig into large datasets to extract meaningful insights, and start packaging and sharing findings with colleagues and external partners. You'll also build your understanding of Fever's business context and develop your awareness of where solutions might lie.

By month 6 you'll be designing and optimising systems for the collection, analysis, and dissemination of research data. You'll have an eye for the gaps in our knowledge and a sense of how to fill them — ensuring data validity, addressing biases, and identifying trends in our data that constitute real business opportunities.
