The Junior Planning Analyst supports material planning and inventory optimisation to help ensure the availability of materials required for production. The role analyses material demand, monitors deliveries and material flow, supports inventory accuracy, and identifies opportunities to improve planning processes.
This position reports to the Senior Manager, Electrodes & KitPak and is part of the Electrodes & KitPak organisation located in Stargard, Poland, and will be an on-site role (ul. Stalowa 6).
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
• Analyse and forecast material demand based on production requirements and available inventory.
• Plan and order materials using applicable replenishment methods, including Kanban, and prepare Kanban calculations.
• Monitor supplier deliveries and control the flow of components between suppliers, the warehouse and Production in terms of timing and quantity.
• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counting, Kanban audits and inventory management activities.
• Identify areas for improvement, propose countermeasures and cooperate with Production and other supply chain partners to improve material availability and flow.
The essential requirements of the job include:
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, engineering or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, material planning or inventory management.
• English proficiency at B2 level
• Experience using an enterprise resource planning system for material or inventory-related activities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting and planning activities.
• Experience analysing material demand, inventory levels or supplier delivery data in a manufacturing or operational environment.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
• Using Kanban, Dynamic Kanban or similar inventory replenishment methods.
• Participating in cycle counting, inventory audits or inventory optimisation activities.
• Working in a regulated manufacturing environment.
