What You Will Do:
We are seeking a Process Improvement Specialist to support process improvement, operational modernization, and mission support initiatives for a federal law enforcement customer. In this role, you will work closely with Government stakeholders and senior process improvement personnel to assess, document, and improve investigative, intelligence, analytical, and operational workflows. You will support efforts to enhance operational effectiveness, improve information sharing, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that directly support mission execution.
The Process Improvement Specialist will conduct research and analysis of operational processes, collect and evaluate performance data, and assist in identifying workflow inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement. Responsibilities include developing process maps, workflow diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and reporting products, as well as supporting the implementation of process improvement initiatives and operational enhancements. Success in this role requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic law enforcement and intelligence support environment.
What You Will Need:
Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
Bachelor's degree.
TWO (2) or more years of professional experience supporting process improvement, business analysis, operational analysis, program support, management consulting, or a related field. Experience should include, but not limited to conducting research, data collection, and analysis to support business or operational improvement initiatives.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other collaboration platforms.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Experience conducting research, data collection, and analysis to support business or operational improvement initiatives.
Ability to document processes, workflows, and procedures utilizing process mapping and business analysis methodologies.
Experience developing reports, presentations, and other documentation for management and stakeholder review.
Experience supporting federal law enforcement, homeland security, intelligence, or investigative operations.
Familiarity with investigative support, intelligence integration, information-sharing, or operational coordination processes.
Experience supporting process improvement initiatives utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, Business Process Improvement (BPI), or related methodologies.
Knowledge of performance metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and mission effectiveness measurement.
