  • Assist in analyzing mission requirements and resource taskings to develop, adapt, and implement deployment and redeployment plans.
  • Participate as a member of Joint Planning Groups (JPGs) and support Operational Planning Groups (OPGs) throughout the planning process.
  • Provide operational and technical JOPES expertise supporting real-world operations, contingency planning, and military exercises.

  • Execute TPFDD updates during planning, sourcing, refinement, validation, and force module development activities.
  • Evaluate deployment and redeployment plans to ensure continuity, supportability, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Translate movement planning data from TC-AIMS II and TC-ACCIS into JOPES databases for deployment execution.

Force Flow Analysis and Movement Tracking

  • Coordinate, execute, and track personnel movements to, from, and within the USCENTCOM AOR.
  • Monitor deployment and redeployment operations and provide in-transit visibility (ITV) of personnel throughout the movement process.
  • Conduct research and analysis regarding unit deployment status from home station to final destination.
  • Prepare and provide daily and weekly movement, deployment, and force flow status reports.
  • Analyze operational impacts to joint reception, staging, onward movement (JRSO), sustainment operations, and force flow synchronization.

Coordination and Reporting

  • Coordinate with FORSCOM, USCENTCOM, USARCENT staff sections, force providers, and supported commands regarding deployment requirements and movement schedules.
  • Monitor USCENTCOM operational newsgroups and deployment guidance to identify emerging requirements and planning considerations.
  • Assist in the development and transmission of JOPES validation messages and deployment readiness reports.
  • Prepare executive-level briefings, presentations, and decision-support products for senior military leaders and General Officer audiences.
  • Support planning conferences, deployment working groups, and other operational synchronization events.

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Minimum of five (6) years of experience in operational planning, contingency planning, deployment operations, or joint staff environments.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience using JOPES and developing, refining, updating, and managing TPFDD data.
  • Experience supporting deployment, redeployment, force flow, and contingency operations within a Joint environment.
  • Experience developing military planning products, including CONOPs, OPORDs, FRAGOs, staff estimates, and annexes.

  • Ability to analyze complex operational data and provide recommendations to senior leaders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience briefing senior military audiences.
