Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is currently seeking a Joint Reconstruction Platform Lead to join our SENA team located in Singapore. 

 

Position Overview:

 

Joint Reconstruction SENA lead will play a pivotal role in the advancement of Knee and Hip replacement business of DePuy Synthes across the Southeast and North Asia (SENA) region. This position demands a strategic thinker with strong execution capability, responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle from launch to market adoption and portfolio mix strategy. The position will report into the Strategic Capabilities Lead for SENA. This role will require strong collaboration with SENA cross-functional stakeholders as well as strong engagement with the Global and APAC teams.    

 

 

Key responsibilities

 

1.     Strategic Marketing Plan Development and Execution:

o   Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic marketing plan utilizing the Launch Excellence (LEX) Framework. Collaborate closely with global and regional marketing teams to ensure alignment with global strategy while adapting to local market dynamics and opportunities.

o   Work closely with country and Southeast and North Asia Regulatory Affairs and Supply Chain teams to ensure SENA countries gain early access to new products and prioritized supply allocation.

o   Look at share, mix and price as levers for growth of the business in SENA.   

 

2.     Surgeon Training Plan Development and Execution:

o   Partner with regional Professional Education team to develop curriculum, workshops, and certifications tailored to meet the needs of surgeons in Southeast and North Asia.

o   Partner with country teams to execute surgeon training programs that ensure proficiency and technology adoption among surgeons in the SENA region.

o   Monitor training effectiveness and adjust programs as needed to optimize surgeon engagement and competence.

 

 

3.     Sales Training Plan Development and Execution:

o   Collaborate with regional Commercial Education team, SENA field Trainer to create and implement comprehensive sales training programs designed to equip the sales force with the knowledge, tools, and skills required to effectively promote our full solution.

o   Track sales performance metrics and provide ongoing coaching and support to ensure achievement of sales targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, life sciences, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, product management, or business development within the medical device industry, preferably in Orthopaedics.
• Proven track record in launching and commercializing medical devices or digital solutions in the MedTech industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across functions and geographies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English; proficiency in other languages spoken in Southeast and North Asia is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel extensively within Southeast and North Asia and internationally as required.
