Your Responsibilities
You take technical ownership of our enterprise applications and ensure their availability, performance, and stability throughout the entire lifecycle.
You design and implement new services, integrations, upgrades, and migrations, continuously evolving the underlying application and database landscape.
You automate recurring tasks and further develop monitoring, logging, and observability capabilities to detect issues early, improve service quality, and sustainably reduce operational effort.
You analyze incidents and performance problems, drive lasting improvements for both users and operations, and establish the foundation for efficient handover of recurring operational tasks through runbooks, automation, and clear standards.
You serve as the technical escalation point for 3rd level support, resolving complex incidents and technical challenges for internal stakeholders and project teams.
Your Profile
Several years of experience in engineering and operating business, web, or enterprise applications in enterprise environments, combined with strong hands-on expertise across Windows and Linux platforms.
Extensive practical experience with web application servers such as IIS, Tomcat, WildFly, Apache, or NGINX, as well as relational databases including Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
Solid scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash, along with proven experience in analyzing and resolving complex performance and operational issues.
Strong experience with automation and a good understanding of observability and modern operations platforms, such as Ansible, Grafana, OpenSearch, Docker, or Kubernetes.
A strong sense of technical ownership, proactive problem-solving skills, a customer-focused mindset, and clear communication abilities.
A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification is preferred. Alternatively, vocational IT training combined with relevant practical experience is equally valued.
Fluent English is required; German is a plus.
