Lead the local IT team to provide timely and accurate system support to local users, keep IT systems and network infrastructure running smoothly with minimal downtime, and work closely with Regional/Global IT to deliver IT solutions, projects and policies that support efficient business operations.

Vishay Siliconix Electronic Co., Ltd MOSFET product line includes a diverse range of advanced technologies. We are one of the pioneering corporations that invested in semiconductor packaging in Taiwan founded in 1974 with around 600 employees. It is very convenient to visit us through public transportation: bus lines and just 8 mins walk from Nanzih Export Processing Zone MRT station and 10 mins drive time from Zuoyang High speed rail station.

What you will be doing:

• Supervise and coordinate with IT staff in providing system support to local users regarding SAP, PROMIS, Cisco IPT, Email, TM1, Windows Servers, Bond system, LAN/WAN networking communication and ad hoc application reports.
• Ensure all local network devices and computer equipment are in good working condition during on-line sessions, keeping IT systems running smoothly and system downtime to the minimum.
• Interact closely with local users and Regional/Global IT to seek system issue resolutions and enhancements; consolidate system requests from local users for more efficient programming and IT solutions.
• Coordinate with Regional/Global IT to implement Regional/Global IT projects on time, and ensure local IT follows Regional/Global IT guidelines and policies.
• Supervise, coordinate and develop IT staff, ensuring the team meets performance and development goals while keeping business expenses within budget.
• Submit monthly reports and ad hoc IT reports as requested by management for planning, consolidation and administration.
• Communicate and follow up with customers, vendors, TW Custom Officers, Regional IT, plant operation management, Vishay users, Vishay Service Desk and network carriers.

What you will bring along:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or related fields.
• 10–15 years’ experience in a computer-related field, or at least 5 years at Senior Supervisor level.
• Solid knowledge of Windows Server 2019 & above, SAP, PROMIS, Cisco IPT, Cisco UCS, VMware, NetApp / EMC NAS storage, Dell Storage and Fortiswitch infrastructure.
• Experience in IT budget planning and control.
• Strong leadership, motivation and supervisory management skills, with good coordination and interpersonal influence.
• Fluent in speaking, reading and writing English and Mandarin.
