RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage assigned direct accounts supplied from Singapore across designated markets (e.g. Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, Korea), maintain strong customer relationships through sales excellence. Understanding customer’s commercial and technical needs and opportunities. Manage customer interactions primarily through virtual engagement. Support SO17 compliance requirements and Cupset workflows for direct-buying customers.

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in Malaysia, driving sales growth and market development for Essential Nutrition products and solutions.

• Accurately budgeting, forecasting to ensure products and resources are well planned as needed. Developing and implementing plans for focus customers. Keeping all information databases up to date (e.g. IBP, MSD, Cupset).

• Proposing prices that are in line with the market and with Evonik’s profit targets. Offer service levels according to the customer group and within the AN business rules. Provide accurate and reliable market information.

• Working closely with the Distribution Manager to ensure alignment between direct account development activities and distributor channel strategy.

• Ensure compliance with regards to all Evonik guidelines with particular focus on SO17, antitrust and customer-related compliance obligations.

• Participate in or lead business projects as required.

• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments to ensure timely collection.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Animal Nutrition, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Agriculture, Agribusiness, or related disciplines.

• Minimum 5 years of sales, key account management, technical sales, or business development experience within the animal nutrition, feed additive, feed, premix, or livestock industry.

• Solid understanding of the animal nutrition industry, feed value chain, and commercial dynamics within Southeast Asia markets.

• Proven track record in customer development, account management, pricing negotiation, and achievement of sales and profitability targets.

• Experience working with feed mills, integrators, and key accounts is highly preferred.

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities and translate customer needs into business solutions.

• Proficient in digital sales and business management tools, including CRM systems, Microsoft Power BI, Excel, SAP, IBP, and other commercial planning tools.

• Comfortable working with forecasting, budgeting, demand planning, sales analytics, and pipeline management processes.

• Strong project coordination and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across Sales, Technical Service, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Marketing, and Finance functions.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships at multiple organizational levels.

• Self-motivated, agile, and results-oriented, with strong learning agility and the ability to adapt to changing business environments.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive execution with minimal supervision.

• Fluent in English; additional Asian language capabilities (e.g., Mandarin) would be an advantage.

• Willingness to travel within the region as required.
