Job Description

Responsibilities  

• Support the development of AI prototypes and AI/BI solutions for clearly defined business use cases. 

• Assist in building and testing AI agents, GenAI workflows, prompt logic, and related solution components. 

• Explore, prepare, and validate datasets using Python and SQL, with guidance from the team.

• Evaluate model and solution outputs against defined performance, risk, and business-fit criteria, and document findings. 

• Support dashboards, semantic models, data visualisations, and reporting that provide actionable insights to business users. 

• Participate in testing, issue investigation, product documentation, and iterative improvements. 

• Work with the team on deployment, monitoring, security, compliance, and governance activities appropriate to the assigned scope.

• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements 

• Currently pursuing a Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software or Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or any other related disciplines. 

• Foundational programming skills in Python and working knowledge of SQL and data handling. 

• Familiarity with machine learning concepts, the model lifecycle, and GenAI/LLM concepts through coursework, projects, or self-learning. 

• Exposure to Databricks, cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, data pipelines, ML workflows, or BI tools is an advantage. 

• Able to apply analytical thinking to a defined problem and take ownership of scoped work with guidance. 

• Able to commit to a 6-month internship. 

• Eager to learn, experiment, and work with new AI/BI tools. 

• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members and business users. 

• Detail-oriented and organised, with the ability to manage assigned tasks and timelines. 

• Proactive and responsible, with a willingness to seek guidance and incorporate feedback.
