What you'll do 
 
In this role, you’ll join our Corporate Communications team, supporting internal communications. Our team provides consistent, timely, and accurate communications support and resources to our business partners across the organization. Along the way, you’ll share our commitment to continuous learning, improvement and process efficiency.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Prioritize, troubleshoot, and escalate incoming communication requests  

• Activate our communications playbook by maintaining self-serve tools, templates, and guidance documents and sharing with our internal business partners 

• Assess, review, and edit on internal communications plans and content 

• Manage and publish content on our internal communication channels – for example, intranet news and announcements, weekly leader briefing newsletter and corporate-wide emails 

• Be involved on project teams for corporate events  

• Collaborate and liaise with the broader communications team – for example, brand and digital specialists, media relations and external communications 

Minimum qualifications 

• Requires at least two years’ relevant post-secondary education, working towards a university degree in communications, journalism or public relations. 

Preferred qualifications 
 

• Highly motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills to effectively work in a collaborative team environment. 

• Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a strong focus and attention to detail. 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

• Excellent use of prioritization and flexibility with changing priorities. 

• Strong desire to learn and develop skills throughout the work term. 

• Intermediate to advanced understanding of Microsoft Office applications.  

• Comfortable with web-based technology for managing incoming service requests and publishing communications.
