Role Overview

We are seeking analytical, and detail-oriented Commercial Intern to join our team for a 6-month (24-week) internship program. This role offers a unique hybrid experience bridging commercial strategy, supply optimization, account management, partner onboarding, data analytics, and project coordination. As an intern, you will dive deep into supplier performance data, optimize reporting dashboards, execute key supply optimization initiatives, and build essential onboarding and account management frameworks that directly impact our business operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Onboarding & Account Management

• Partner Onboarding: Build, refine, and execute structured onboarding flows, collateral, and documentation for new hotels and commercial suppliers to ensure seamless platform integration.

• Account Management & Supplier Engagement: Support key account managers in day-to-day partner communications, operational follow-ups, and the preparation of weekly supplier sync decks and performance reviews.

• Process & Workflow Mapping: Design clear, actionable flowcharts and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for internal commercial workflows (e.g., promo code creation, supplier onboarding, account health checks).

2. Supply Optimization & Commercial Strategy

• Supply Availability & Performance: Analyze supplier inventory, availability, rate competitiveness, and booking conversion across target markets.

• Promo & Activity Optimization: Conduct deep-dive comparisons of Standalone vs. "Snap" (promotional/package) activities to identify growth drivers and optimize promo allocations.

• Growth Initiatives: Assist commercial leads in identifying supply gaps, regional demand trends, and actionable opportunities for portfolio expansion.

3. Data Analytics & Dashboard Optimization

• Audit Reporting Systems: Review and assess existing commercial dashboards (Demand, Supply, Performance) and data structures to identify gaps in data quality and accessibility.

• KPI Enhancement: Collaborate directly with the Data Team to identify new business KPIs and develop proposals for dashboard enhancements.

• Performance Deep-Dives: Analyze geographical performance data and supplier performance trends to unlock actionable business insights.

4. Project Coordination & Stakeholder Communication

• Track Milestones: Apply project management fundamentals to actively track ongoing commercial, supply, and onboarding initiatives, ensuring timelines and key milestones are met.

• Meeting Management: Participate in cross-functional project meetings, document detailed minutes, and follow up with internal and external stakeholders on action items.

• Progress Reporting & Summaries: Keep internal teams aligned by preparing weekly and monthly commercial summaries and project progress updates.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Currently pursuing or a recent graduate with a degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Project Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.

• Analytical Mindset: Comfortable working with data and metrics. Prior exposure to tools like Looker, dashboards, Excel/Google Sheets, or web/app analytics tools is a major plus.

• Commercial Acumen: Strong interest in e-commerce, account management, supply operations, and partner relationship building.

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to confidently interface with various stakeholders and document meetings clearly.

• Organization: Strong time management skills and an ability to handle multiple tasks, moving parts, and documentation simultaneously.

• Problem Solver: A proactive attitude with a keen eye for finding data inaccuracies, supply bottlenecks, or process inefficiencies.
