Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Capable of working from drawings, sketches, templates, and patterns
- Maintain work area in a clean, neat, and orderly manner.
- Install unit vehicle components and accessories
- Set up jigs and fixtures
- Basic computer usage
- Adhere to Terex safety policies and procedures
- Comply with Terex quality standards through error prevention and by meeting such requirements with zero defects.
- Follow and promote The Terex Way Values
- Function as a team member and contribute to group goals while maintaining a positive attitude
- Ability to work overtime as required
- Perform other job functions as needed
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma and/or equivalent experience
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and 40-100 lbs. with assistance of others or lifting equipment provided
- Physical ability to work under, on, and around truck chassis and truck bodies
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of manufacturing experience
- Experience working with hydraulics/electrical/fabrication
- Capable of operating a variety of hand and power tools
- Possess ability to problem-solve
- Understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- Previous work experience in fields such as mechanical/construction/carpentry
The salary range for this position is $24.41 to $25 per hour. All eligible Team Members will be offered health insurance (medical, dental, vision, Rx), life insurance, accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D), short-term and long-term disability, extended leave options, paid time off, company holidays, 401k matching, employee stock purchase plan, legal assistance, wellness programs, tuition reimbursement and discount programs.
**$3,000 Sign on Bonus:
$1500 paid at 90 days, $1500 paid at 180 days. Must be an active employee at time of payout to collect the bonus. Employee will be responsible for repaying the bonus if you leave within 1 year of the final bonus payout.
