About the Role

We are looking for an Installation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the safe, high-quality, and timely installation of KONE equipment while coordinating day-to-day site activities and maintaining effective communication with customers, contractors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Relationship Management

• Manage the equipment installation environment throughout installation activities.
• Handle day-to-day on-site communication with customers regarding installation and logistical activities.
• Coordinate with site stakeholders to support smooth installation progress.

Project & Installation Management

• Ensure the safe, high-quality, and timely installation of equipment in accordance with KONE installation methods and safety requirements.
• Report installation progress to the Installation Supervisor.
• Identify and report shortages or damaged materials and ensure replacement parts are requested promptly.
• Ensure installation tools and equipment are kept safe and in good working condition.
• Ensure delivered equipment is properly stored, handled, and secured on site.
• Coordinate with the builder and other site stakeholders to minimize interruptions to installation activities.
• Maintain a safe working environment within installation and storage areas.
• Stay familiar with relevant installation manuals, procedures, and field updates.

Delivery & Quality

• Receive, check, and ensure the proper storage of materials.
• Carry out installation activities according to predetermined methods, instructions, and schedules.
• Submit required reports, including timekeeping, quality feedback, and material warranty claims.
• Provide feedback to support the continuous improvement of products and installation processes.

People & Collaboration

• Work closely with supervisors, technicians, helpers, contractors, and other stakeholders on site.
• When required, provide guidance, training, or coaching to trainees and helpers.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in installation, construction, elevators and escalators, or a similar technical/site environment.
• Good understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a site-based environment and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Good problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
• Ability to organize work, follow installation schedules, and meet deadlines.
