Establish and build solid business relationships with network doctors

Initiate communication with and respond to inquiries from practices regarding pricing, product information, and policies of the lab

Generate sales volume from practices within a specified geographical territory

As assigned, monitor specified types of accounts to ensure requirements are being met

With assistance, monitor accounts to identify potential issues

Gather and analyze data to offer alternative solutions within established processes to resolve identified problems while continuing to meet customer expectations

Maintain current working knowledge of lab systems, products, sales strategies and marketing opportunities

Identify opportunities and recommend changes for improvements

Utilize sales automation and order entry systems to make inquiries, maintain records and prepare reports

Escalate issues to the appropriate level when necessary

Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

One to two years sales or account management experience or equivalent

Two years experience in a business setting, demonstrating proven quality customer service skills

Knowledge of Ophthalmic lens and the Optical Industry

Strong organizational skills

Excellent interpersonal and rapport building skills

Familiarity with PC applications

For roles that are remote (i.e., Work From Home (WFH)) or hybrid (i.e., partial onsite at a VSP location and WFH), must demonstrate a high level of engagement in virtual environments, including maintaining camera presence during meetings to support effective communication and team alignment

Preferred Location

Candidates residing in or near Minnesota are preferred.

Compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
