The State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio (STRS Ohio) is seeking an Infrastructure and Technology, Student (Part-time, other) to join the Executive/Infrastructure and Technology team.

Compensation:
$21.16 - $23.80/ hr.
Work Schedule:
25-29 hrs. per week based on school schedule.
General Summary:
Under the direction of the director, Technology and Enterprise Operations, provide operational and technical support across Computer Operations, Service Center functions and Enterprise Workstation Services. Assist with production processing, end-user support and IT asset and environment maintenance while following established procedures.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Monitor job scheduling systems to identify late, failed or incomplete processes and assist in resolution.
Operate and maintain Computer Room and peripheral equipment; report issues to appropriate staff.
Provide tier-one technical support via phone, walk-in or web channels; document and route incidents in ticket tracking system.
Collaborate with IT teams to support workload requests and operational tasks.
Participate in reviewing and updating documentation and procedures.
Maintain awareness of system status and assist in daily operational reporting.

Summary of Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in information technology, computer science or a related field required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and standard desktop tools required.
Ability to follow established procedures, security practices, endpoint protection standards and system configuration standards required.
Ability to work with and preserve confidential information is required.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment while meeting deadlines with minimal direct supervision required.
