Accenture Federal Services is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer to join our team and support our client in the Colorado Springs, CO area.
What you’ll do:
- Work in close collaboration with a small team to support the customer’s critical systems
- Ensure systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with security policies and procedures as outlined in the security authorization package
- Conduct periodic reviews of Information Systems to ensure compliance with the security authorization package
- Coordinate with systems administrators to perform system scans for A&A and continuous monitoring to include but not limited to network devices, servers, databases, and web services
- Perform compliance audits, participate in incident handling, and lead or assist investigations into security anomalies
- Perform review of audit logs and continuous monitoring tools for IT systems to identify anomalies, hacking or insider threats
What you’ll need:
- 3 years security experience in the DoD
- 2 years of experience with one of the following: ICD-503, JSIG, RMF, NIST, FIPS, CNSSI 1253, Nessus, A&A
- Experience with reviewing security concepts of operations, systems security plans, security control assessments, contingency plans, configuration management plans, incident response plans, vulnerability scanning, and/or vulnerability management plans
Bonus points if you have:
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience on DoD projects
- ACAS/Nessus for scanning
- SIEM/Splunk to configure and operate SIEM, create dashboards, reports
- Experience with incident handling procedures
- Other Security related certification (Cloud, SIEM, forensics, Linux, Windows, etc)
- Experience working in a DevSecOps project environment
- Experience with MS Active Directory, Splunk, ACAS/Nessus, McAfee, Windows, Linux, AWS Security, etc.
- Able to engage with users in a professional manner and present technical concepts plainly to semi-technical customers
- Ability to interface with seasoned Government personnel
- Desire to learn new technologies and tools and willing to share your experience with the team
- JSIG or ICD 503 compliance
Clearance:
Must have a TS/SCI level clearance
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
