We're seeking an HR Information Governance Specialist to join our team in the Human Resources Division.

In this department, we help the firm support and develop its workforce through people insight, effective service delivery and practical tools that make it easier for employees and managers to get what they need. This role is responsible for advancing HR information governance by leading HR data lifecycle management, establishing information management policies and standards, and driving data governance initiatives that improve the quality, control, and usability of HR data assets.

What You'll Do in the Role

• Own the HR data lifecycle framework, including data retention, archival, and defensible disposition practices, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and business requirements
• Develop and maintain HR-specific information management policies, standards, and controls that promote the responsible management, protection, and use of workforce data
• Lead strategic data governance initiatives, including reference data management programs, to improve data quality, consistency, and operational effectiveness across HR functions
• Partner with HR, technology, risk, legal, and compliance stakeholders to align governance practices with enterprise data strategy and evolving regulatory expectations
• Drive continuous improvement of HR data management capabilities by identifying opportunities to strengthen governance frameworks, reduce risk, and improve the accessibility and reliability of workforce data
• Provide governance expertise and guidance to data stewards, business owners, and project teams to support effective management of critical HR data assets

What You'll Bring to the Role

• Experience in data governance, information governance, records management, or related disciplines within a complex organizational environment
• Knowledge of data lifecycle management practices, including retention schedules, archival strategies, disposition controls, and regulatory compliance requirement
• Demonstrated ability to lead data governance programs and deliver cross-functional initiatives involving business and technology stakeholders
• Understanding of reference data management, data quality frameworks, metadata management, and data stewardship principles.
• Ability to translate governance objectives into practical operating models, policies, standards, and controls that support business outcomes and risk management
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to build consensus across diverse groups and senior leadership audiences
