Group/Division
The KLA Services team consists of Service Sales, Marketing, Spares Supply Chain Management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, Digital Solutions and Analytics, and Technical Product Support. Our services organization maximizes the value of our customers' KLA assets – with highly trained service and product support engineers providing installation services and 24/7 technical support and parts delivery through our extensive supply chain network.What You'll Do
In this role, you will play a key part in advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work across your area of expertise.
Define, govern, and continuously enhance enterprise content models, information architecture standards, authoring guidelines, and metadata frameworks across Technical Publications and Knowledge Services.
Design and manage taxonomies, controlled vocabularies, content classifications, and metadata structures,
Drive content reuse strategy, governance, measurement, and optimization across product divisions through content audits, reuse frameworks, standards, and metrics.
Establish and maintain content governance processes, quality standards, style guides, authoring best practices, and review frameworks to ensure consistency and compliance across all documentation.
Partner with Technical Publications, Systems, Product Support, Engineering, and Knowledge Management teams to align content structures with business, customer, and operational needs.
Lead initiatives that transform technical documentation into AI-ready, machine-readable, metadata-rich content capable of supporting semantic search, content intelligence, knowledge graphs, automation, and future AI applications.
Define requirements and collaborate on the evolution of content delivery platforms, CCMS, search experiences, content reuse services, and digital knowledge ecosystems.
Develop and track content architecture KPIs including reuse, content quality, metadata completeness, taxonomy adoption, AI readiness, and content maturity metrics.
Facilitate governance councils, best-practice forums, training programs, and stakeholder workshops to drive organizational adoption of information architecture standards and content strategy.
Create and execute the roadmap toward a unified, AI-ready knowledge ecosystem through content architecture modernization, semantic enablement, automation, content governance, and scalable knowledge delivery.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Information Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Knowledge Management, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in Information Architecture, Content Strategy, Technical Documentation, or Knowledge Management.
- Proven expertise in content modeling, metadata, taxonomy, controlled vocabularies, and information architecture.
- Strong knowledge of structured authoring, XML/DITA, content reuse, and content governance.
- Experience with CCMS platforms, metadata-driven publishing, and digital content delivery solutions.
- Strong analytical skills with experience defining content metrics, KPIs, and governance dashboards.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and influencing skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable content and information architecture solutions.
- Experience leading cross-functional content, process, and technology transformation initiatives.
